"My son (14 now) has worked with Coach Pat for hitting instructions for about four years. I think I have been to, or witnessed instructions from most of the facilities and numerous instructors over the past 4 years, and Pat is definitely one of the best in the business.

Pat has a unique ability to quickly dissect the swing and flaws within it, and make it understandable for even the youngest kids. I have seen him work with High School kids and he adapts to whatever level he needs to for a positive learning experience.

I would highly recommend Pat as a hitting instructor for any age."

"I have two boys ages 14 and 13 who have been taking hitting lessons from Coach Burns for more than a year now. The transformation I have seen in them is incredible. They have taken lessons from other instructors in the past but never has anyone given them the tools they need to be consistently successful at the plate. Not until Coach Burns. Other coaches have given us a standard lesson right out of the box but Coach Burns has a different progression plan for each of my boys based on the type of hitter that they are and more importantly he has taught them to be their own coach so their hitting coach is always with them!"

"Our son started with Pat four years ago when he was 12 and he had just starting playing select ball. Today he is one of the best players on his select team as well as his High School team. Pat has been the main teacher and mentor that helped him get to this level. It is a true joy to watch Pat interact with him. He has a way of connecting and communicating with young players that is a true talent and a joy to watch. We will be using Pat as long as our son is playing baseball."

"My son, Wes, has been going to Pat Burns for 4 or 5 years now. Pat not only taught him the mechanics of batting, but also taught him to switch hit. When Wes would attend baseball camps and college showcases, the instructors all wanted to know who taught him to swing a bat. They told my son not to change a thing and that Pat taught him very well. Take advantage of Pat’s gift to teach your child about baseball, he knows what he talking about."

"Hello, my name is Ethan Stuckly, and my hometown is Pilot Point, Texas. I currently live in Stephenville, Texas and attend Tarleton State University and I play baseball for the Tarleton Texans.

I graduated for Pilot Point High School in 2008, then attended and  played baseball  for two years at Weatherford College and then signed with Tarleton to play for my Junior and Senior years.

I have been getting hitting lessons with Pat since January, 2008 and continue to go to him as much as possible. I just wish I lived closer so I could go more often. Pat is an excellent instructor. I feel I owe Pat for my success in high school and college baseball.

While getting instructions from Pat I lead my high school team in batting, I tied the hitting record for the most base hits at Weatherford College and hope to continue my success at Tarleton.

Pat gives you the confidence and the help that you need to be successful at hitting."

"I play on a 14 year-old, top-level travel baseball team, and have worked on my hitting with Coach Pat for the last four years. He has really helped me improve each year.

We always work hard on fundamentals each lesson, and now we are adding mental tips to improve my hitting approach. Coach Pat explains his techniques very clearly, and always makes sure I understand what to work on at my team practices and what to focus on during games.

He makes learning to hit a lot of fun."
