Coach Cory Womack

Cory Womack graduated from Lawton High School in 1992 where he lettered all 4 years for the varsity baseball team. In his junior and senior seasons, he was selected to the Oklahoma All-State Team.

After high school, Womack had the opportunity to play pro ball with the Atlanta Braves organization, but elected to go to college womackpicinstead.

Womack attended Western Oklahoma State junior college for 2 years and then played 1 year at Southwestern Oklahoma State, where an injury to his shoulder cut his career short.

Womack was a utility player who understands the importance of playing multiple positions. He is a gifted instructor of all phases of the game of baseball, specializing in catching and infield.
